so as many of you are already aware, I’m very sick. I have been since around november of last year, and I don’t have a diagnosis yet beyond ‘we’re 90% sure it’s autoimmune and you have an unidentified white mass in your brain’ but it’s only getting worse.
to make a long story short, my employer has me trapped in limbo where I can’t apply for any kind of state assistance yet because they technically haven’t fired me, but I’m not working and my insurance doesn’t cover anything.
so I’m stuck with rapidly increasing medical bills and no income.
(this is just the last like.. 2 or 3 weeks worth of mail? grand total I think I currently owe about 4-5k between the outstanding medical bills and the credit card I had to put some of the payments on because they refused to do some of my tests without at least partial payment up front)
which is where my awesome friend Dave comes in.
he’s been working on this EP for a couple of months now, and it’s finally ready and up for sale on iTunes (soon to also be on most other online marketplaces, at which point I’ll add those links as well). all the proceeds from the sales of these songs go directly to covering my medical expenses. plus, the music is pretty awesome. if you’re into experimental music or film scores this is going to be so up your alley it’s unreal.
so there are now three ways you can help me out, only one of which costs money!
- you can buy the EP ($3)
- you can give it a good rating on iTunes so that more people will see it
- and you can signal boost the shit out of that link. it doesn’t have to be in the context of this post (I know it’s kind of a wall of text). send it around on whatever social media you like.
UPDATE 6/12: if you want to contribute but don’t want to make a purchase, there is now a GoFundMe page
and I’m taking a limited number of portrait commissions (because my energy levels and coordination are pretty off right now and I don’t want to commit to anything I can’t finish) via ArtCorgi
Sometimes I feel like drawing, but I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable if it’s not your cup of tea.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS
